Hora qui ductus tertia
Fuisti ad supplicia
Christe ferendo humeris
Crucem pro nobis miseris

Fac sic te nos diligere
Sanctamque vitam ducere
Ut valeamus requie
Frui caelestis patriae.

English translation:

Thou who at the third hour
was led to the torture,
Christ, bearing on thy shoulders
the Cross for us wretches.

Make us so to love thee
and to lead a holy life,
that we may be able to enjoy
the repose of the heavenly fatherland.
