This motet is transmitted as a fragment.

The Mass [La Bassadanza]  (which follows M092 and M093 in I-Mfd [4]) is attributed to Franchino Gaffurio in ANNALI 1885, 168; WARD 1986, 497 extends the attribution to M092 and M093.

Full text: 

Assumpta est Maria in caelum. Gaudent angeli laudantes benedicunt dominum.

Hodie Maria virgo caelos ascendit. Gaudete quia cum Christo regnat in aeternum.

English translation: 

Mary is received into heaven. The angels rejoice and singing praises they bless the Lord.

Today, Mary ascendens into the heavens. Rejoice because she reigns with Christ forever.
