Salve decus virginum,
Mediatrix hominum,
Salutis puerpera.

Flos campi convallium,
Singulare lilium,
Christus ex te prodiit.

Hail, holy mother of the Word, flower from a thorn lacking any thorns, glory of the thicket.

We are the thicket, we are tortured by the thorn of sin, but you don´t know this thorn.

Hail, splendor of virgins, mediator of men, bearer of salvation.

Flower of the field of the valleys, extraordinary lily, Christ came forth from you.
